Field trainers, Melanie McCallon and Bill Holmes have helped numerous universities and professors navigate the path to successful study abroad. About the Authors Melanie McCallon is the Associate Director for Education Abroad at Murray State University. She also conducts training for the Association of International Educators (NAFSA) and the Appalachian College Association (ACA). In 2010, her outstanding work with faculty was featured in The Chronicle of Higher Education's 'Innovators in Internationalization' series. Bill Holmes is the Director of International Education at Campbellsville University. In his earlier years, he completed an assignment with the Peace Corps in Ukraine, and served as health and safety warden for the region. He also holds an MA in International Affairs and has conducted training for the Appalachian College Association (ACA).
